Mary, Mary, quite contrary,

how about your soul?

Please stop and see what you could be

if God just had control!

Jack and Jill, you’ve had your fill

of running up the hill.

Now stop and rest, by God be blessed

before you take a spill.

Jack, be nimble, Jack be quick;

the Devil tends your candlestick!

Why gain the world and lose your soul

when you could let God take control?

Little Bo Peep, you’re like your sheep

lost and cold and lonely.

Please make the choice to hear God’s voice

and listen to him only.

Georgie, Porgie, pudding pie,

kissed the girls and made them cry.

Didn’t know the Lord had planned

a purer way for every man.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

Jesus Christ knows where you are.

He has put you there to shine

until the world runs out of time.

Pease porridge hot, pease porridge cold,

sleepy Christians in the church, growing old.

I would you were hot, or would you were cold,

but I’ll not have you in my Church, growing mold!
